About Us and the Villas on Aitutaki Island
Aitutaki Beach Villas is owned by the Tini family who were born and brought up on Aitutaki Island in nearby Amuri Village. The villas are managed by colourful local character "Mu" who meets all guests off the flight from Rarotonga. Mu can assist with all tour bookings, car, moped and bicycle hire and will make sure you get all the info about the island you need including shopping, local transport, walks, church services and snorkelling spots. The villas are serviced every three or four days by our local housekeepers. My name is Ian and I manage the website and reservations remotely to ensure your beachfront holiday in the Cook Islands goes smoothly..
Aitutaki Beach Villas has its own sea-kayaks and SUPs for guest use (charge applies) and there are beach tables, hammocks, chairs and a shared BBQ for your leisure. The villas has Star-link Internet with data purchased from the villa manager. Vodafone WiFi also reaches the villas for those already with voucher access or sims.
Aitutaki Beach Villas is located on the north-west side of the main island of Aitutaki. The area is a quiet spot with a splattering of houses and small resorts along the coastline and is backed by grassy hills with walking tracks and great views of the lagoon. The beach stretches for almost 4 kilometres and is backed by iron-wood and coconut trees making it a great spot for beach walking.
Our absolute beachfront accommodation on Aitutaki is about a 25-minute walk or 7-minute moped ride into the main town of Arutanga where Lagoon Cruises and private charters depart to explore Aitutaki Lagoon (most provide free pick-ups).
Several small grocery shops are walking distance, including one that is open 24/7 and stocks fruit, vegetables and take-away breakfast snacks and lunches; and there are a couple of local cafés within 10 minute walk from the beach villas serving a selection of coffee, cakes and breakfasts. Arutanga Town has the largest supermarket on Aitutaki and is a leisurely 25-minute walk through quiet roadside villages; or a little longer along the beach. There are several restaurants within a five minute walk including the resort restaurants of Pacific Resort Aitutaki, Tava'e Resort and Tamanu Beach Hotel, all of which welcome outside guests for food and drinks (cash or card).

Aitutaki Lagoon is mostly renowned for its stunning enclosed lagoon lined with uninhabited coral islands and these can be explored on day cruises and charters.
